In-Line Embossing/Debossing Dies

In-line embossing /debossing is the technique used when die cutting and embossing or debossing in the same process. This process reduces the number of passes from two to one and saves valuable press set-up time. And because this process can be run cold, the usage possibilities are greater.

UEI’s in-line brass embossing and debossing dies are specially designed to work within the die cutting board. The engraved die can be securely mounted into the die board utilizing a variety of different mounting methods. UEI has even added a special feature that allows for positioning flexibility during press set-up. And to further ensure a perfect fit, UEI works with your die cutting board manufacturer to develop the entire in-line embossing/debossing tool.

Metal Thickness Available:

• The thickness of the metal is determined by many factors including the die cutting board, die rules and substrate. UEI works with your die cutting board manufacturer to determine the proper thickness of both the die and the board for the perfect in-line embossing/debossing tool.
